In 12/2018, I had both Rear Strut Assemblies replaced with Monroe Quick-Struts that I had purchased for my 2004 Honda Element by K-Way. After the replacement, I noticed the struts were still sounding the same. When my wife spoke with K-Way, I was informed that they had not replaced with the correct Strutt Assemblies and could not find the ones I had purchased—I never understood how this happened (did an employee trade them out for old ones to sell) but I appreciated the company’s honesty. I took my car back, they removed the struts that had been replaced, then took them to O’Reilly’s where I had purchased them and then used the warranty to replace the old ones (as mentioned, these were not the ones I purchased, however). K-Way then replaced them, and I hoped everything was fine. The drive never seemed like it got any better. It was not as noisy anymore, but with the trouble already incurred, I decided not to return or ask any more questions. Today, I took my car to get the front strut-assemblies replaced by a reputable business where I live now and was told that I also needed to have the rear ones replaced because they were in bad shape. The tech could not believe I had them replaced 3.5 years ago (25k-30k miles). The shocks I bought should be able to handle 30,000 miles on pavement. Given the issues I had already with K-Way (1) not putting on the correct struts, (2) not knowing where my purchased struts were, and (3) using the warranty on the struts I purchased to replace the old struts from their shop, I feel like they installed another old, used pair of struts that they had in the shop. I called and talked with K-Way and was told it was past the two-year warranty for their work. I mentioned my thoughts that another old pair were put on, and the gentleman did not remember this. Given it had been a while, but I sure as hell would remember said situation, unless things like that happen more frequently than it should. They did not have all the receipts and could not even find the invoices when I initially spoke to them. I am not asking them for anything more. I will leave this review, however. The people seemed as friendly as could be at the shop and I hate to think they would do anything malicious, but I don’t know how else to explain it. I will now spend another $1,200 to get these replaced (not the price I was charged by K-Way). Hopefully this time, THEY ACTUALLY GET REPLACED. If I am able, I will add photos of the rear struts that were installed by K-Way in December 2018 when I get them back. They are getting replaced are being saved for me.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My elderly mother took her car in for a simple ac condensation clog to be cleaned. First I want to say that when she took her car in the air conditioner worked fine, it was just leaking. The mechanic then said the ac wasn’t working so they recharged it. For less than an hour worth of work they charged over 258 dollars. They said their labor was 202 bucks. Then upon getting some money back due to overcharging and driving the vehicle home the ac no longer worked and neither did the thermostat. So we called and they said sure bring it back, so we can diagnose it and charge you more to fix the new problems. Needless to say we will not be going back to this shop. Elderly women beware. They WILL rip you off.

Happy with the repairs to my car! Thanks k way!
